“After a thorough renovation, redecoration and much improvement in the auditorium, this beautiful little theatre was reopened on Monday evening under the management of the Worrell Sisters. The house was crowded with a very brilliant audience, in which the ladies were in the majority.  The Sisters received a very flattering ovation from the public, and performed their respective rôles with more than usual vim and abandon in consequence.  The pieces passed off very smoothly, and the stage management reflected credit on Mr. Baker, who had control behind the scenes.  The opening was a great success, and it will probably prove an enduring one.”
