“G. P. Moore and Miss Julia Moore, new comers, made their first appearance in the country at the Eighth Avenue Opera House on Thursday night, 17th  ult., the former in Irish character, songs, etc., and the latter as a danseuse.  Mr. Moore’s songs were something new, but he is a little too tame and methodical to suit the masses.  He may improve as he becomes acquainted.”
