“The re-engagement of Lady Don for an additional term of six nights was begun last evening with the popular Irish drama of Kathleen Mavourneen, or St. Patrick’s Eve. Owing to the chilly weather the attendance was less numerous than usual. . . . The beautiful and plaintive Irish ballad, of a similar name as the play, was rendered by the talented actress with excellent vocal effect. ‘Cushia Macree’ and several other airs incidental to the piece were sung, and elicited repeated encores.”

“Lady Don has been engaged for one week longer . . . as ‘Jennie Deans’ is not quite ready.”

Review: New York Clipper, 30 March 1867, 406.

Lady Don terminated her five weeks’ engagement . . . on the 23rd inst. Pecuniarily it has been a failure, the attendance the past week being very slim.”
