The event was well attended. The two choruses and the solo singing performances enriched the event and contributed to its success. The French horn solo was especially noticeable. Weinlich and Diem were asked to sing da capo, and the Frauenlob Chorus performed its pieces excellently, although they were abandoned by their conductor Riede (no further explanation).
