“Little Mac was the card last week at the Eighth Avenue Opera House. He appeared in the act known as the ‘Essence,’ in which he was very popular at Bryants’ Minstrel Hall for a long time. He also appeared with Frank Kerns [sic] as the ‘Nerves,’ and in his Monkey Act, in all of which he is very clever, and elicited shouts of laughter from the large audience in attendance every night.”
