“The same bill that has attracted large audiences to the Fifth Avenue Opera House the last three weeks will be repeated this week for the last time, as the burlesque of 'Alladin' is in preparation for the 7th inst. Mr. Leffingwell's impersonations of Beppo in ‘Fra Diavolo’ and Romeo Jeffer Jenkins in 'Too Much for Good Nature' are very clever performances, the make-up being excellent. Mr. Leffingwell is one of the best burlesque actors we have now on the American stage, as has been fully attested by the large audiences and enthusiasm that has been witnessed at the Fifth Avenue during his engagement there, as well as at other establishments in this city. Taken altogether, the company at this house is a good one, and each artist strives his or her best to make a burlesque theatre a success. Manager Garland has hit the popular taste…”
