Paur led the meeting while the chorus was rehearsing. (…) The treasurer reports the expenses of the central committee since January as $1244.47, which leaves the balance of $1085.35 in the account. It will be used for the Philadelphia Choral Festival. (…) Twenty Six New York musicians were hired for $35 a man to accompany the singers [for the festival].
