“This leading vocal society of New York gave their second musical soiree at the Liederkranz Hall, Fourth street, on Wednesday evening, under the direction of Mr. A. Paur. [Lists soloists and composers.] The choruses and orchestral pieces were rendered with satisfaction and correctness, and the concert on the whole was listened to with pleasure by the large number of members present. Dancing followed the concert and was kept up until chanticleer proclaimed the approach of Thanksgiving Day.”
