Article on the New Yorker Allgemeine Sängerbund

Following the invitation of the Mozart Verein, the chorus members who attended the meeting of the Allgemeine Sängerbund shortly before at the Germania Assembly Rooms (see above), who objected to the decision that the Central Committee of the 10^th Choral Festival is entitled to elect delegates for the organization of an Ost Sängerbund and in addition organize the New York singers for the 11^th Choral festival, gathered at Lincoln Hall the same day of the other meeting. The debate was concluded with the decision to discuss this matter with the N.Y. Sängerbund. Another meeting was announced for next Friday at 42 Avenue A.
