Announces that M. John de Pol is renovating the Banvard Museum (corner 30th & Broadway) to make it a performance venue. He has engaged Mlle Blasini, “première danseuse à la Scala de Milan,” and M. Lupo, who has succeded Petipa and is currently in London. M. Pol is talking with Mlle Giuseppina Morlacchi, principal dancer at the Berlin Opera—this theater will rival the Châtelet in Paris and put the Black Crook in the shade. All the costumes, scenery, etc., will come from Paris. . . .
