A member of the Colonia Chorus and the N.Y. Turnverein, Daniel Seckelmann, died recently at the age of 20½ . At this funeral at the Cypress Hill church yard, the Colonia Chorus sang the song: “Da unten ist Friede” [“Down there is peace”] (folk melody—no composer mentioned).
