Pianist Oscar Pfeiffer is expected to arrive in the course of this month. He will give some concerts here and then travel inland. His wife and the singer Pollack will accompany him on his journey.

...Pfeiffer’s genre is much different than de Meyer’s, somewhat “bigger and louder”. Pfeiffer is a serious, very well-trained musician who is equally skilled technically and sensitively. He emotionally grasps and interprets his chosen pieces with deep understanding. His playing of the keys is sensitive, clear and pleasant in addition to its full sound. The Steinway grand piano sounds beautifully under his hands. Pfeiffer impresses as composer as well. His pieces display a musical structure, understanding and consistency as rarely heard in modern salon pieces. His Rondo with orchestra was a big success.
