“The bill of the beautiful, sensational Irish drama of Inshavogue, and the explosive musical farce of Thrice Married, from their effective rendering by the Florences, still continues to draw full houses of thoroughly satisfied visitors at the Broadway. The constantly changing scenes, romantic incidents and situations through which they pass, their severe trials, temptations and dangers, to the crowning and happy solutions of their troubles, make of Inshavogue and his pretty daughter a very pleasing diversion as given by Florence and Miss Newton. The protean farce which follows, with the rattling songs and dances, French, Dutch and Spanish, of Mrs. Florence, would bring laughter from the worst defeated or disappointed radical in the late elections. Let Charley Spencer try it, and all others who want to spend a pleasant evening in cheerful company.”
