The New Yorker Allgemeine Sängerbund and its current state. . . . On a meeting on October 3rd, two significant decisions were made: 1. with the joining of new choruses, a complete revision of the bylaws will take place until all members are satisfied with the changes, and 2. there will be new elections for all offices. Since then 3 new choruses have announced their joining, and we expect 6 to 8 more will follow that example.

At this time the New Yorker Allgemeine Sängerbund consists of the following 8 choruses, which all have a contingent of approx. 200 singers: Allemania, Schillerbund, Germania,Loreley, Hudson Men’s Chorus, and the 3 newly joined: Arminia, Union Men’s Chorus and Eintracht, and North Hoboken. [The list of the newly elected officers is included in the article.]
