“W. F. Williams presided at the organ, displaying much good taste and judgment in the rendering of his accompaniments, which supported withoutoverwhelming either the soloists or the choristers. Solos were rendered in the ‘Te Deum’ by Masters Spitzca and Gibson, and in the ‘Benedictus’ by Mr. Allerton, though there seemed in all these gentlemen a lack of confidence or nervousness which was somewhat embarrassing. . .”
