On the opening of the Stadttheater for the season.
No mention of music. “Mr. Hermann Hendricks [sic] made his debut at this hosue of the German drama, last evening, in Meyr’s drama of ‘Father and Son.’ It was Mr. Hendricks [sic] first appearance in America, and his European reputation secured him a large audience and a hearty welcome…At the end of the fourth act he was three times recalled.”
