“The approach of cool weather does not diminish the audiences at Central Park Garden. The great concert hall will be comfortable all winter, and no other concerts that are likely to be given will compare with those at the Garden. Mr. Thomas’s orchestra is by far the best and most efficient that we have; it is under regular drill and is constantly improving, and the indefatigable leader is continually bringing out the best of the old and new music.”
