Morra was the organist at St. Stephen’s.  “The high reputation of the choir of St. Stephen’s, which is doubtless the finest in New York, drew together a very large audience, composed of the lovers of music of all sorts.  A new Mass in eight parts, by Mr. Mora [sic], the organist, was sung with thrilling effect.”
