The Rothmänner-Liedertafel had a procession, picnic and a flag presentation on Monday, the 20th, at Landmann’s Hamilton Park. The chorus was founded two years ago and has since then made some good progress. The conductor is Mr. Jung.

Several other choruses participated in the procession such as Allemania Men’s Chorus, Arminia, Aurora, Colonia, Germania, Harugari Liederkranz, Loreley Bund, the Gymnast Society Germania, the drumming corps of the NY Gymnast Association, Comp. B of the 96th Regiment lead by Capt. Rosenbaum, NY National Guard, and others.…At the end the Rothmänner-Liedertafel sang Abt’s “Halleluja.”

A detailed description of the new flag follows.
