“The band gave selections from several popular operas in good style. Mr. Arbuckle performed the ‘Whirlwind Polka,’ on the cornet, in a style that elicited hearty applause, and for the encore gave ‘Yankee Doodle’ with variations. He is without doubt one of the best performers on that instrument ever heard. . . . The house was crowded.”
