“‘Lucrezia Borgia’” is an immense success at Bryant’s, and will continue until further notice. Aside from this admirable burlesque many new features have been added to their programme.”

“Bryants’ Minstrels continue to be well attended. The programme offered the past week was a diversified one, presenting to advantage the particular capabilities of each member of this troupe. The ballad singing of C. Henry and Dempster was deservedly applauded. The second part of the programme comprised quite a variety of entertainments—a double song and dance by Hogan and Hughes, the Julien Concert, a sketch by Eph Horn, Nelse Seymour and Rockefeller, a stump speech and a banjo solo by Unsworth, and Dan Bryant as ‘Captain Jinks.’ The burlesque on ‘Lucrezia Borgia’ is received nightly with cordial approval.”
