The Liederkranz was founded 21 years ago last year. It currently has 970 members, of which 108 are active, and 62 are non-performing (women). Last year the Liederkranz gave one concert and participated in other events, such as the benefit for the German hospital, Carl Wolfsohn’s concert, and the anniversary event of the Philharmonic Society [lists other non-musical events]. Eighty members participated in the Choral Festival in Philadelphia, at which they won first prize. [Chart of revenue and income sources included.]
