“Presented under the pleasing participation of the singing societies ‘Schillerbund,’ ‘Social-Reformer Liedertafel,’ and the drama clubs “Eunomia’ and ‘Teutonia.’ The festival begins with an overture, thereafter a dramatic presentation. The performance will be ‘No. 777,’ oder ‘Die Heirath der Güterloterie,’ a comedy in 2 acts by Lebrün. In between acts will be songs presented by the ‘Schillerbund,’ ‘Social-Reformer Liedertafel,’ and ‘Allemania.’ After the play will be a ball in both rooms, connected with various jocular conversations, and the club in general will do everything to prepare for the honored audience a happy evening, and hereby do not invite sympathy. A good orchestra will also be heard.”
