Program Details
Two separate ensembles performed this concert: the Thomas Orchestra and an “orchestra†unnamed by the citations. Music in Gotham understands the second ensemble to be the Thomas Band. Both groups performed the Ernani fantasia, the Jubel-Ouvertüre, the Robert le Diable fantasia, the “Hallelujah†chorus, and the march and chors from Tannhäuser.
