It appears that Landmann’s Hamilton Park was double-booked for this evening, or that both the Company B of the 96th Regiment and the Röthmanner Liedertafel were determined to hold their festivals there at whatever cost: the advertisement of 08/23/68 suggests that some sort of compromise took place to combine their (what would have otherwise been separate) festivals.
