Program Details
Two separate ensembles performed this concert: the Thomas Orchestra and an “orchestra” unnamed by the citations. Music in Gotham understands the second ensemble to be the Thomas Band. Both groups performed the Robert le Diable fantasie, the Jubel-Ouvertüre, the prayer from Mosè in Egitto, the “Hallelujah” chorus, and the “March du sacre” from Le Prophète.
