Two separate ensembles performed this concert: the Thomas Orchestra and an “orchestra†unnamed by the citations. Music in Gotham understands the second ensemble to be the Thomas Band. Both groups performed the Ernani and Tannhäuser fantasies and the Jubel-Ouvertüre.
