Ball of the Henry Clay Literary Association. Last night was their 11th anniversary ball at Apollo Hall. The society is Hebrew. The members mostly reside on the east side of the city. Mental improvement of those who attend the meetings is the goal of the society. Though not well attended, it was a nice affair. Dancing commenced soon after 9 pm to Bernstein’s orchestra.  22 dances were performed. The ladies were dressed elegantly.
