“It is seldom that the public is treated to an opera a la Mozambique, but the Ethiopian entertainment with the musical title of ‘Bone Squash Diablo,’ which the San Francisco Minstrels have prepared for the public, may be set down as the best of the class. It is a most amusing piece, and if the hearty and enthusiastic applause which greeted its representation last night may be taken, as it ought, as a criterion, it will certainly have a successful run.”
