“Bryant’s [sic] Minstrel Hall ought to be crowded every night. When we consider how various and how excellent the entertainment is that is there given, we are astonished that a vacant seat should ever be found in the house. Lately Mr. Bryant has revived his amusing burlesque of ‘Shylock,’ and this is given nightly, together with a great number of new [illeg.] acts of minstrelsy. The gens d’armes [sic], by Bryant and Seymour, are particularly humorous.”
