Brief. “The Worrell Sisters have severed all connection with the New York theatre. In a card dated ‘St. Louis, March 8, 1869,’ Miss Sophie A. Worrell, on behalf of ‘the sisters,’ announces that they ‘deem it an imperative duty to state that the reason of their withdrawal from its management is the sincere conviction that no quality of talent could attract ladies and gentlemen to its peculiar interior a second time.’”
