Announcement: New-York Daily Tribune, 08 April 1869, 4.

“This evening, at Hlasko’s Hall, corner of Thirty-fourth st. and Sixth ave., a promenade concert will be given by Theodore Thomas’s orchestra for the benefit of the Protestant Episcopal Church of St. Sacrament, on the shores of Lake George. This church has been erected by the efforts of one young lady, at the cost of $5,000, all of which has been paid except $350. The entertainment to-night is relied upon to make up this balance. It is seldom that so much money is raised by a concert now-a-days, but we hope this one will at least realize a large part of it.”
