“To-night at the Olympic Theatre Mr. George L. Fox, the superb delineator of ‘Humpty Dumpty,’ will take a benefit, and make his last appearance in that character. Mr. Fox is the best living artist in his peculiar walk, and his humor has won him a multitude of admirers. The house, without a doubt, will be crowded to-night. ‘Humpty Dumpty’ is close upon its 500th representation. Mr. Fox’s new pantomime, to be produced on Monday, the 17th, is entitled ‘Hiccory Diccory, Dock’—and not ‘Red Riding Hood,’ as at first announced.”
