“The present is the sixth week of Mr. Fox’s pantomime of ‘Hiccory, Diccory, Dock,’ which is prosperous at the Olympic Theater. A combination of all the pantomime forces in the city would sustain one pantomime theater, in abundant success, year in and year out.”

In a separate paragraph: “The Lauri Ballet at Wallack’s[,] the Clodoche Troupe at Niblo’s Garden, and the Kiralfy Troupe at the Olympic, concentrate the attention of those who care for dancing. We are glad to remark, however, that stage-dancing has at length fallen to its proper level as a mere subsidiary incident.”
