“The Piano-makers’ Union of this city, Mr. Henry Siebert, presiding, held a meeting at the Germania Assembly Rooms last night, with regard to the sounding-board men of the piano factory of Messrs. Steinway & Sons, who, on account of a reduction of their wages, are on a strike since Monday last. The association resolved to support the strikers morally and materially during their strike.”
