The French players at the New-York Theatre have acted there every night of this week. Last evening they sang Adam’s opera of ‘Le Sourd,’ and M. and Mme. Moreau repeated the performance of ‘Les Jurons de Cadillac,’ which recently afforded so much satisfaction. Adam’s work pleased, we should say, for the recollections it awakened rather than by the potent charm of its music, to the delicacy of which the audiences of the day are hardly alive. M. Girrebeuck, the tenor, bore off the honor of the representation. He had the valuable coöperation of Mme. Gueretti, and MM. Edgard and Genot.”
