“At the fourteenth street theater, M. Grau’s boarders aren’t at a standstill. The rehearsals of l’Oeil crevé are being actively pursued, and the celebrated drollery of maestro Hervé will happen probably Wednesday or Thursday at the latest. As Mme Rose Bell’s indisposition persists, M. Grau, in order to give a few days of rest to the celebrated prima donna and to not interrupt the success of Geneviève de Brabant any sooner than he has to, has distributed the role of the page Drogan to Mme Desclauzas and that of Geneviève to Mme Rizareli, a new singer gifted with a lovely voice, a pretty physique, and what’s more, an excellent musician. Here’s a double attraction for the public.”
