“The plot of ‘Without a Name’ is simple and amusing, introducing the dashing and musically gifted Miss Olivia Rand as Ahmed, a pilgrim lover, who sings splendidly, dances charmingly, and indulges in a continual fire of bon mots, to the delight of young New York. Miss Rosa Rand, as the Princess Aldegonda, made a palpable hit. She sang in burlesque style some of the ‘Traviata’ music, and was rapturously encored.” “A Dutch song and dance by Miss Olivia Rand elicited a most enthusiastic recall. A novel feature introduced us to a solo on ordinary cowbells, played by several of the characters, and a walking orchestra by Mr. Meyers, who plays on four instruments at one and the same time.”
