Part of longer article on Good Friday services throughout the city. “…At Trinity full choral service was performed at 11 A. M.. [sic] in the presence of a congregation so large that hundreds were unable to obtain seats. The music was almost entirely Gregorian. During the offertory Gounod’s ‘Word of God Incarnate’ was performed.”
