“An interesting reunion will take place at the Bowery theatre [sic] on Friday next. Eighteen years ago, when that theatre was second to none in the personnel of its company, three young ladies appeared there in different lines of business and became favorites with the public. They were Matilda Heron, Caroline Hifford and Gertrude Dawes. The last mentioned lady will have a benefit at the Bowery on Friday, and the two first have kindly consented to assist at her benefit. Mme. Matilda Heron Stoepel will appear in ‘Medea,’ of which she was the original representative on the stage.”
