“A social organization, bearing the name of the Lotos Club, has just sprung into existence. Its elements represent art, music, journalism and the drama—professional men and business men entering, of course, liberally in the composition of the new institution.” The club has taken a lease in a building adjoining the Academy of Music. The membership is currently growing and the “formal installation” of the group will take place on May 1.
