“At the Theatre Comique during the past week the only fresh attraction offered consisted of George W. Thompson, who appeared during the week in an original sketch entitled ‘Love’s Disguises; or, The Dutchman in Turkey,” in which he played the character of Moses Needle very effectively. His dialect is very good, and he possesses comic talent in no small degree. The balance of the programme was good, well performed and served to attract large audiences during the entire week.”
