“Mme. Murio Celli repeats on Thursday, at Allemania Hall, her operatic entertainment, consisting of parts of ‘Traviata,’ ‘Lucia’ and ‘Rigoletto.’”
“At Allemania Hall, Madame Murio Celli’s pupils will repeat their operatic entertainment which a few weeks ago gave so much satisfaction.”
“Those who went to Allemania Hall last night to attend the operatic performance of Madame Celli’s pupils, found the place closed and a placard on the door stating that the concert was postponed until Saturday evening at the Union League Club theatre. This change was in consequence of a prohibition of the performance by the authorities, because the proprietors of Allemania Hall had neglected to take out a license.”
“In consequence of the proprietors of Allemania Hall not having taken a license for theatrical performances, Mme. Murio Celli received at a late hour notice from the authorities that her operatic entertainment could not take place without such license being taken, consequently the entertainment has been postponed until Saturday, May 28, when it will positively take place at the Union League Theatre.”
“The operatic entertainment by the pupils of Mme. Murio-Celli, which was to have been given at Allemannia [sic] Hall Thursday, takes place at the Union League Club Theater this evening.”
