“The German Opera Company at the Stadt Theater, of which we have already spoken, continues its performances on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays, apparently to the entire satisfaction of that portion of the community upon which it chiefly relies for support. It seems to have made very little effort to attract notice outside of German circles, but it deserves the attention of the American public, and we are glad to see that it gets some of it too.”
