Inauguration of the fall and winter season. “As Harry Romer, Mr. Buckley appeared perfectly at ease, and sang a song, ‘My Soul With one Unbroken Sigh,’ accompanying himself upon the guitar, which met with the favor of the audience.” “His [Buckley’s] musical acquirements were liberally displayed during the drama. He performed upon the cornet, melophene, toy cornet, violin, banjo, pine sticks and bones, at different periods during the evening, meeting with much favor and in several instances winning deserved encores.”
