“Miss Sherman has a youthful, pretty face, a good figure, and a pleasing voice, and, being endowed with unmistakable talent, at once became a favorite. Harry Watson, as a dancer, is excellent, but as a vocalist is only fair. His dancing, however, won for him two or three encores. Walters, the song and dance performer, recently at Newcomb & Arlington’s Minstrels, has become a favorite at this house, the acrobatic feats which he introduces in his dances being favorably received.”
