Notes wonderful trapeze feats of Millie Turnour. “Mr. J. A. Sharpley, a performer upon the concertina, was received with favor. Miss Ada Wray performed a banjo solo and song, which was encored. She has a very pretty face and was costumed with taste. Her singing lacks method and cultivation, and her voice, which must have been a good one, has been sadly injured by injudicious practice. However, as she is still young, these faults may yet be remedied. Mr. J. H. Milburn appears to be as popular with the patrons of this resort as when he made his debut. He sang several of his old favorite songs judiciously, interspersed with new ones. His efforts received due recognition from the audience. ‘A Morning with Judge Dowling,’ which has excited considerable attention, has caused roars of laughter during the week, and was withdrawn after Saturday night last. Master James Speight, the infant violinist, has become a great favorite with the audiences.”
