“A grand concert was given last night at Steinway Hall by the students of the ‘Christian Brothers,’ of this City, in aid of the members of that order in Paris, who have lost all their property in the war, and are now in great distress. The programme consisted of orchestral music, declamation, vocal solos and choruses, performed by about 150 voices, mainly those of young boys.”
