“’Der Freischütz’ was presented by the German Opera Company at the Grand Opera House last evening. The audience was rather small, but the performance in many respects merited a much larger attendance. The choruses were well given, and the scenic effects in the incantation scene were good. Miss Rosetti sang the part of Agatha with great care and taste, and Miss Anna Elzer as Annchen was graceful and artistic, and her vocalization excellent. The Caspar of Mr. Meinlich was also well done.”
