“The Charity Concert by St. Thomas’ Choir, at Apollo Hall, on Thursday, was a complete success. The hall was crowded, and the appearance of the Choir (numbering fifty voices) in their uniform, of white for the ladies and black for the gentlemen, was charming. Mrs. Geilager [Gulager], Mrs. Stetson, Mr. Nillsen [Nilsen], Mr. Lumbard, Mr. Sonheim, Mr. Schnecker, and Mr. Warren were the solo performers, George William Warren, director.”
